I have known Veronica for close to fifteen years (this makes me feel old). I knew her as a kid growing up in suburban Minnesota, and it has been such a pleasure to watch her grow and change into this strong and talented woman. It’s funny how seeing a young person become this creative powerhouse over time really puts the world into perspective. I am super excited to have her share her thoughts and talents through her creative medium on the blog.
Interior designer by profession and multidisciplinary creative by instinct, Veronica Mae McCracken describes herself as a world-wanderer, naturalist, and pioneer, and she strives for dynamic juxtapositions of the familiar with the unconventional. She embraces the ability of “being creative” to defy single definition, and her various works possess that same elusiveness, not bound by physical surface or spatial dimension. Some of her favorite mediums include abstract illustration, installation, jewelry and furniture design that all reflect her infatuation with nature, light and illusion.
Veronica’s blog will be featured on Monday, November 30. Peek back then!
