I met Walter while attending university. He was my psychology professor, but he quickly became a person I looked up to. Walter has this really unique and beautiful way of holding on to agnosticism, mystery and belief all at the same time. I’ve always admired that about him.
Walter Thiessen is the Dean of Arts and a professor of psychology at St. Stephen’s University, a school which is delighted to be the smallest university in Canada. He also has a private counselling practice (St. Croix Counselling Services) and is the author of Glimpses of a Good Life. He and his wife, Carol, have raised three children in St. Stephen, NB (Canada) and love gardening, walking, and drinking coffee on the patio. Walter’s studies have focused on the personal and communal search for a life of wholeness.
His blog will be featured on January 18th. Check back then to give it a read!
