I met Sarah when she and I both worked for the same political consulting firm back in Minneapolis. Trouble is, when I was starting out there, she was about to take leave to bring her beautiful baby boy into the world, so we didn’t get to spend much time together. When we did work together, I remember thinking how badass she seemed. She was and is the mom I aspire to be to my (future) kids.
Sarah is a no bullshit woman, and she wears it like a badge of honor. She is hilarious and kind and I believe she carries a heavy burden of caring deeply for the world we live in.
Sarah is a lifelong community organizer, feminist activist, and postpartum depression survivor living in Minnesota.
Her blog is the last in our six month Reflections on Darkness series, and I am proud to publish it on Monday, March 14. Keep your eyes here to read what is sure to be a cracker of a reflection.
